Business Data Analyst (Contract – eCommerce & Reporting)

As they enter Q4, this well known alcoholics drinks brand requires an experienced contractor to support with business reporting and analytics. The outgoing analyst covered 2 days per week; they're looking for someone proactive, efficient, and commercially minded to provide insight as well as accurate reporting.   Role Overview: They are seeking a UK based contractor with strong experience in business data analytics and reporting, ideally within eCommerce and consumer brands. The role will focus on reporting, financial analysis, and performance insights across our key platforms and channels.   Key Responsibilities:            •         Build and run reports from NetSuite to support business performance tracking.            •         Conduct eCommerce merchandising and analytics across Shopify and Amazon.            •         Perform financial and commercial analysis, including:            •         COGS, contribution margin, LTV, and related KPIs.            •         Commission payment reporting for sales agents.            •         Provide actionable insights and a clear point of view on numbers and trends, not just raw data.   Requirements:            •         Proven experience with NetSuite reporting.            •         Strong background in eCommerce analytics (Shopify, Amazon).            •         Commercial/financial analysis expertise (no formal accounting qualification required).            •         Ability to work efficiently and independently, delivering high-quality insights.            •         English fluency required. Italian language skills are a bonus, but not essential.   Contract Details:            •         Time commitment: ~2 days per week ongoing (with up to 3 days/week initially for scoping and onboarding).            •         Location: Remote, with potential benefit if based in Italy.            •         Day rate: ~£600/day (flexible for the right candidate).            •         Start: Immediate.   Ideal Candidate Profile:            •         A pragmatic analyst who balances accuracy with efficiency.            •         Comfortable forming and expressing a clear perspective on business performance.            •         Experienced in supporting fast-paced eCommerce environments.
